What is the shelf-life of your herbs?
While herbs generally don’t spoil, they will lose their potency over time. How the herbs are stored will play a large role in how long they retain their potency. If stored in airtight containers, such as glass jars, and kept in a cool, dark, dry place, whole herbs can last up to 3-4 years and ground herbs can last 1-2 years.
We make every effort to ensure that you receive well-preserved herbs. We use dark amber jars and polyfoil bags with a resealable ziplock closure, which protect the contents from exposure to light and moisture, to preserve the freshness, aroma, and potency of our products.
Some items are perishable like our Sea moss Gel, which must be refrigerated right away upon receiving and last about a week in the refrigerator. We recommend placing gel in ice trays and freezing for longer shelf life.
Can your products be taken with medication?
Our products are natural and organic; however it is always wise to contact your primary physician if there are concerns regarding specific medications that you may be presently taking.
Can I take these products while pregnant or breastfeeding?
We recommend you consult your healthcare professional before consuming any GreenLeaf Products if you are pregnant or nursing. During pregnancy/nursing it is important to use caution and listen to your body when consuming strong natural herbs. This is the case when using any of the GreenLeaf line. Unfortunately we cannot give any specific recommendations about which products to take.
What do I do if my order was damaged during shipment?
We go to great lengths to ensure that your order is correct, properly packaged, and well protected. Despite our best efforts, damage sometimes occurs during shipment. We strongly recommend that you always inspect your shipment before signing. If any exterior damage is visible, we recommend that you refuse shipment; if there is interior damage, please contact us immediately.

What are your office hours and when can I expect an answer to my email?
Office hours are Mon-Thurs 7am-7pm est and Fri 6:45am-2pm. est Our offices are closed on Saturday and Sunday, so any emails sent during the weekend will be answered on the next business day. We strive to answer all emails within 24 hours.
